Donald Buckley Photographics has been operating in Southland for over 30 years with Donald Buckley opening the first colour developing laboratory in Southland many years ago. While Donald is officially retired, the stores are still proudly managed today by the third generation of Buckley’s. There are three Donald Buckley Photographic stores in Southland – two in Invercargill and one in Gore. Founded on the belief that great service is the basis for any successful business, the stores continue to survive and prosper by continuing this tradition.

Over the years we have seen many changes in the industry, with the latest shift from film to digital the most dramatic.
