Digital Printing
Digital has made photography so easy, the only downside being people don’t print so many pictures any more. Why is it important to have your pictures printed? Because printing them is the only way to guarantee they will be around for generations to come.
Historians are concerned precious information about the way we live is being lost to future generations. Don’t let that happen to your family!
Printing at home is convenient but likely to fade in a very short time, so we recommend having your prints made using the traditional ‘wet chemical’ process as the only way to guarantee long term survival of your precious family’s memories. Real photos, to have and to hold...
Kiosk Printing
- Each Donald Buckley store is equipped with multi Kodak Kiosks, designed so that you can easily select, modify and print your digital photos.
- Crop your images, remove annoying red eyes, add text, borders or make calendars off your memory cards or CDs.
- You can even make your own Christmas greeting cards, wedding and baby thank you cards and lots more besides.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to remove your memory card from your camera or if you are an experienced computer user - our friendly staff are happy to spend time showing you how to use the kiosks and their many features.
You can choose to print instantly from the kiosk, or choose between gloss and matte papers for prints networked to our Noritsu printers. Every Noritsu print is quality checked for colour and density by professionals, ensuring you will receive the top quality prints you have always expected from the Buckley’s team.
Printed on quality Kodak paper, all prints come with Kodak’s Lifetime Guarantee, ensuring your prints will last for a lifetime. All these things ensure that your prints will always be ‘The Best Photos in Town!”
If you don’t have the time (or the inclination) to use one of our Kodak Kiosks, you can just bring in your CD or memory card and we can do all the work for you. Just tell us which images you would like printed and leave all the rest to us – it’s that easy!
The only choices you have to make is whether you want standard 6x4in (10x15cm) prints or 5 x 4in (10 x 13cm) prints and whether you prefer matte or glossy prints.
Remember – many digital cameras use a different format for capturing their images and if you want to avoid your pictures being cropped top and bottom, then you should choose 10 x 13cm prints.
Emailing Your Images
If you prefer to send us your images from the comfort of your home, check out our Emailing Images page. This page will soon be undergoing renovation and you will be able to order online simply and effectively. We will keep you posted on these exciting developments.
A handy tip to remember if you are emailing images, is to ensure the total size of your images sent in one email, do not exceed 5MB.
Most domestic email mailboxes are set so that any oversized emails will either be blocked from being sent, or take so long to send, that they ‘time out’. Contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
